Perfect place to stay in Sausalito. The hotel is perfectly located. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were good in size and very comfortable (bed sheets were really nice). The gym is very limited so didnt use, and opted to walk outside instead. Will definitely stay again when in Sausalito.
Always come here for New Year’s but experienced sugar ants in our Suite. Love the location and most of the time the service, but this time it took a long time to get help with our ant problem. Second time we have experienced this. Also experienced a lot of noise from the guests above us… Appreciate the comp of the room, but it killed the experience all together.
Our group had an excellent experience at Casa Madrona. All of the staff was attentive to our needs and truly made our stay special. Highly recommend staying here for a trip to Sausalito or for your event needs - the views from their event spaces are beautiful.
We loved our weekend getaway at Casa Madrona! Made a great local escape from the city. Staff were super welcoming and friendly, and you can't beat the excellent location, with great restaurants and retail steps outside and more in easy walking distance. Our room overlooked the bay, and provided truly next level window gazing...I could have watched the changing light and comings and goings on the water all day, every day—birds, boats, ferries, kayakers, the fog rolling in...it was so beautiful, at all hours. Highly recommend taking advantage of the special weekend offerings at the hotel too: the evening sound bath was wonderful, morning yoga is also on offer, and you can use the steam room at the spa any time.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t be more perfect! Poggio’s food was incredible, and I had an overall wonderful experience. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were amazing, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. This trip was for business, but it was certainly memorable. I hope to return soon with my family to enjoy a relaxing getaway together. Highly recommend!

What really made my experience extra special was how dog-friendly the hotel is. I brought my pup along, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were both comfortable.Our room was perfect, with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the Bay. Sitting out there in the morning with coffee was such a highlight of the trip. I also brought my dog along, and the hotel couldn’t have been more welcoming. From the staff’s Between the view, the location, and the warm hospitality, this was one of the most relaxing getaways we will definitely be returning — next time for an even longer stay!
Stayed in the Harbor View room. I enjoyed a fire each night. Loved having tea on the balcony and admiring the sunset. Huge bathroom with large tub, separate shower and toilet was in its own room. All the amenities a person would need, quality soaps and lotions, fridge, robes, etc. Staff was super helpful. My partner was attending a work event at this hotel. They took great care of his entire company. Location is key! Right on the harbor and in the middle of everything. Clean and safe.
A room with a view. Glad I have strong legs because we had to climb a few stairs to get to this cottage, but so worth it. We didn't want to leave the room it was so nice.
